Coaching courses are available periodically, usually before December each year. Currently available courses are shown in the table below.

A Beginner coaching course and a Competition Coaching course are available from time to time. Currently available courses are shown in the table.
The beginner course for first time coaches is called Community Sport Initiation.
- This course is designed for those who want to enter the coaching field at the Youth Bowling and local bowling center level.
- The instructor is National Coaching Certified bowler
The Competitive Coaching course is for those who have completed the Community Coach Initiation training and wish to advance to provincial and national events. Prerequisites are,
- “Community Coach trained” at least 6 months prior to this workshop or have completed and submitted the “Comp Intro Preparedness Assessment” to the C5 office.
- Coach should be a paid-up member of the MBAofA. (Membership fees will be accepted at the clinic.)
