Recognition of a 1972 record
It has been brought to our attention that a record score for four games from the 1972 Western Canada Bowling Championships (precursor to the C5PBA) had been reported incorrectly.
After examination of historical information by our archivist, Don Sim, it has been confirmed that Men’s team member Gary Tunbridge of the Southern Alberta team bowled 1.336 for four games consisting of 337, 366, 287, 346 scores.
Therefore 50 years later we retroactively congratulate Gary on this significant accomplishment.
